Corporate Legal Associate

**Job Summary**:
Key Responsibilities:
- **Corporate Governance**:
- Assist in maintaining corporate governance standards, including preparing board resolutions, minutes, and other documentation.
- Support the compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, ensuring corporate policies are updated accordingly.
- Conduct legal research and provide recommendations to ensure the company's activities align with applicable laws.
- **Contract Management**:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including NDAs, vendor agreements, service contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Identify and mitigate risks in contractual terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
- Manage contract workflows, including document retention and tracking contract status.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:
- Monitor and interpret relevant regulatory developments, providing updates and guidance to stakeholders.
- Work closely with various departments to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct periodic audits to identify and rectify compliance gaps.
- **Risk Management**:
- Support in risk assessment initiatives, working to identify potential legal risks and proposing mitigating strategies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to minimize exposure to legal liabilities.
- Advise on litigation risks and work with external counsel on litigation matters when necessary.
- **Legal Advisory**:
- Provide general legal support and advisory on business operations, corporate policies, and strategic projects.
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on legal topics relevant to the business.
- **Document Management and Legal Research**:
- Organize and maintain corporate records, legal files, and documentation.
- Conduct research on legal issues as they arise, preparing summaries and reports for senior management.
Qualifications:
- **Education**: Degree from an accredited law school; active bar license in relevant jurisdiction preferred.
- **Experience**: 2+ years of experience in a corporate legal environment, preferably with a law firm or as part of an in-house legal team.
- **Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of corporate, contract, and compliance law.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in legal research tools and document management systems.
Additional Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to adapt to evolving legal and business environments.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
