This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

Leads customer engagement to ensure that it meets all scope, time, budget and quality expectations, through planning, controlling and managing customer projects. Manages corporate, customer and third party vendor efforts to plan, sell and implement solutions to customer problems. Responsible for business as well as team management.

**Responsibilities**:
- Manages customer project delivery.
- Revenue as detailed in Impact section.
- Very large/ complex/ single or multiple regions.
- High risk.
- High complexity legal and commercial issues.
- Manages project financials including P&L.
- Meets or exceeds SOAR approved budgets.
- Provides reliable financial forecasts to the management.
- Manages business development.
- Identifies and develops new opportunities with client.
- Supports early qualification and opportunity assessment for large and complex opportunities.
- Acts as opportunity manager for high-risk deals.
- Manages client relationships.
- Manages upper-level client delivery relationships.
- Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients.
- Manages project team.
- Manages internal as well as external resources with a team size less than 40 people.
- Mentors and encourages skill development of project team members.
- Provides detail performance review input and development recommendations for team members.
**Education and Experience Required**:
- First Level University degree.
- 7 years of experience in project management or in like roles/businesses.
- A strong technical professional proficient in the Enterprise technologies such as Microsoft, Linux, Automation, ITIL skills with delivery experience in hybrid deployments.
- Microsoft Technologies - Windows Enterprise Server/Azure/O365/Hybrid deployment and management capabilities.
**Knowledge and Skills**:
- Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of key company Services' operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management.
- Speaks with authority to most layers of depth related to project management methods.
- Makes use of and contributes to the company's PM Professions community.
- PMP Certified.
In a typical day as a Customer Project Manager, you would
- Form, lead and coordinate project teams regarding the following tasks:
- Define the customer's requirements and transfer them into a project plan
- Coach and lead the teams in order to achieve goals and timelines and to solve operational and technical problems
- Implement control and reporting structures for project monitoring as well as risk assesment and change management according to defined governance methods and standard processes.
- Define and monitor all success on critical indicators and core characteristics for costs, requirements, resources and risks
- Conduct status reviews with project teams, account managers and customers on a regular basis
- Contribute to the creation of offers, contracts and time schedules as well as cost calculation.

- Holding a bachelor’s degree in business administration or computer science or equivalent education
- Perennial professional experienced in IT-Project Management with verifiable success in large projects
- Holding a Prince2/ PMP certificate or equivalent
- Experienced in leading and coordinating teams, as well as in conflict and risk management
- Responsible, confident and high motivated with excellent in verbal and written communication
