Senior Manager Operations

Operations Manager must have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving

skills, as well as a deep understanding of the industry and its operations. They should also

have experience managing large teams and developing and implementing operational

strategies that drive business growth and success.

Key responsibilities:

?Leading and managing the operations team:overseeing a team of employees

responsible for various aspects of the business, such as production, distribution, and

quality control. Providing leadership and guidance to ensure that everyone is working

efficiently and effectively.

?Managing manufacturing and production: overseeing the manufacturing processes

of the Third-Party Manufacturers we work with, including production planning,

inventory management, and quality control.

?Ensuring product quality and safety: ensuring that all products meet regulatory and

safety standards, developing and implementing quality control measures to ensure

consistent product quality, conducting audits, and managing any issues that arise.

?Managing the supply chain: managing relationships with suppliers, negotiating

contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of raw materials and finished products,

managing inventory levels. Manage logistics operations, including transportation,

warehousing, and distribution of finished products.

?Cost management: responsible for managing operations budgets and resources to

ensure that the organization operates within its financial budgets. Identifying cost

savings opportunities and managing costs throughout the manufacturing and

production process to ensure profitability.

?New product development: collaborating with other departments, including

research and development, to develop new products that meet customer needs and

drive revenue growth.

?Analyzing data and making decisions: continuously monitoring and evaluating the

organization's operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes

as needed. Will be responsible for analyzing data to identify trends and make

decisions that will improve the company's operations. This may involve analyzing

sales data, customer feedback, or operational metrics to identify areas for

improvement.

?Ensuring compliance with regulations: working closely with legal and regulatory

teams to ensure that the company complies with all relevant regulations and laws.

This may involve developing and implementing policies and procedures, conducting

audits, and managing any compliance issues that arise.

?Communication: communicating regularly with stakeholders, including executives,

employees, customers, and suppliers. This may involve providing regular updates on

operations, addressing concerns or issues, and answering questions to ensure

alignment and effective decision-making.

Qualifications required:

?Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management,

and/or supply chain management. A master's degree in relevant field is preferred.

?Experience: At least 7-10 years of experience in operations management, preferably

in the personal care industry. Experience managing a team and developing and

implementing operational strategies is also important.

?Knowledge: Should have a thorough understanding of the personal care industry,

including industry trends, regulations, and best practices. They should also have

knowledge of operational metrics and how to use data to drive decision-making.

Must have a good understanding of technology and be able to use it to improve

operations.

?Leadership skills: Should have strong leadership skills, including the ability to

motivate and inspire a team, delegate tasks effectively, and manage conflict.

?Communication skills: Should have excellent communication skills, including the

ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, both

verbally and in writing.

?Analytical skills: Should have strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze

data and identify trends, make informed decisions, and develop strategies to improve

operations.

?Attention to detail and Organizational skills: Should have strong attention to detail,

including the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously while

maintaining a high level of accuracy.

?Problem-solving skills: Should have strong problem-solving skills, including the ability

to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement them effectively.

?Strategic thinking: Must be able to think strategically and develop long-term plans

that improve the company's overall performance
