Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Sales Presentations & Product Demos:
Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and consultations to understand customer needs and showcase the relevant IT/ITES solutions. Tailor solutions based on specific client requirements and pain points.
Solution Selling:
Position and sell a portfolio of IT/ITES solutions, including cloud services, enterprise software, IT infrastructure solutions, BPO services, cybersecurity, and digital transformation offerings.
Sales Negotiation & Closing:
Negotiate pricing and contract terms with prospects, handle objections, and close deals in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure contracts are signed and sales targets are met.
Account Management & Retention:
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to keep abreast of the latest developments in the IT/ITES sector. Use this information to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work closely with pre-sales, technical, and customer support teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction. Communicate client needs and provide feedback for service improvement.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
Provide regular reports on sales activities, opportunities, pipeline status, and forecasts. Track performance against sales targets and objectives.
Customer Service & Support:
Act as the point of contact for post-sales inquiries, ensuring that customer issues are resolved promptly and maintaining positive client relationships.
Key Requirements:
**Experience**:
1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the IT/ITES sector. Experience selling IT solutions, software, or services is highly desirable.
Product Knowledge:
Basic understanding of IT/ITES products and services, including cloud computing, managed services, IT infrastructure, BPO solutions, and cybersecurity.
Sales Skills:
Ability to develop and execute sales strategies, handle objections, close deals, and meet/exceed sales targets.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present products, services, and solutions to clients.
Relationship Building:
Proven ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions.
**Education**:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Additional certifications related to sales or IT products would be a plus.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools. A basic understanding of IT products/services is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in selling cloud services, managed IT solutions, or BPO services.
Ability to adapt to evolving technology trends and offer innovative solutions to clients.
Experience with sales in specific verticals (e.g., finance, healthcare, or education) is a plus.
