**Business Relationship Manager at CMIE**

**Position**: Business Relationship Manager

**Location**: Hyderabad.

**Education**: Post-Graduate, with excellent communication skills in English.

**Compensation**: As per company standards.

**Specialization**: Finance & Marketing.

Travel may be required within the assigned territory.

**Introduction**

Indian economy, Indian companies and Indian households. CMIE’s data enables big data analysts and data scientists to unravel opportunities in the Indian economy and make informed business and research decisions.

CMIE provides a range of industry specific, subscription based, information services through its direct sales team. CMIE engages with its customers in the above verticals to understand their information needs and helps them through appropriate offerings of its services.

India and to become the provider of choice for the data and information required by big data analysts, data scientists and data consumers.

**Key Result Areas**

Generate new customer leads in target geography and vertical segment
Follow-up effectively leading to deal closure

Educate and train clients’ users on effective use of the information and services
Manage and expand existing client relationships that are assigned, identify new users in existing relationships
Meet assigned sales targets
Understand and follow CMIE processes and standard operating procedures
Regularly and meticulously update client interactions and leads into online sales diary
Regularly attend sales meetings and contribute as required

**Education, Skills and Attitudes**:
1. Post Graduate in any discipline, understanding of financial and economic terms would be an advantage
2. Ability to understand the information/data needs of current and potential clients
3. Good verbal and written communication skills
4. Excellent in written and spoken English, knowledge of local language would be an additional advantage
5. Good at relationship development
6. Team player, good at people skills
7. Result oriented and self-driven
8. Keen to ensure continuous learning, up gradation of skills to remain competitive
