Transport Tracking and Customer Service Representative (CSR)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Tracking Shipments**:

- Monitor and track the status of shipments using tracking systems and software.
- Ensure timely updates and accurate data entry for all shipments.
- **Communication**:

- Maintain regular communication with carriers, customers, and internal teams.
- Provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues promptly.
- **Customer Service**:

- Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional service.
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
- Maintain relationships with carriers and customers.
- **Problem-Solving**:

- Address and resolve issues that arise during the transportation process.
- Work proactively to prevent potential problems.
- **Reporting**:

- Create and maintain spreadsheets and reports to track shipment progress and performance.
- Utilize carrier websites to obtain manifests and PRO numbers for data entry and shipment tracking.
- **Data Entry**:

- Input shipment details into tracking systems accurately.
- Ensure all data is up-to-date and correctly entered.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
- **Customer Service**: Ability to provide high-quality customer service and handle customer complaints efficiently.
- **Problem-Solving**: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- **Teamwork**: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
