**Role overview**:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Service Staff. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive prompt, friendly, and efficient service at all times.
**Role and Responsibilities**:
- Greeting customers warmly and providing them with information about menu items and specials.
- Taking customer orders accurately and entering them into the POS system.
- Serving food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
- Anticipating and responding to customer needs in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in all areas of the cafe, including dining areas, restrooms, and service stations
- Handling cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Assisting with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down service areas.
**Qualification**:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
