**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Pastry Preparation & Baking**:
- Create and prepare desserts, pastries, bread, and other baked goods in accordance with the restaurant’s menu.
- Ensure high-quality standards for every dish, with attention to presentation and flavor.
- Create seasonal, innovative, and specialty items to enhance the menu.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and maintain consistency.
- **Menu Development**:
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to develop and update the dessert menu, incorporating new trends and creative ideas.
- Tailor desserts for special events, seasonal menus, and client requests.
- **Quality Control & Presentation**:
- Ensure all pastries are visually appealing and meet the aesthetic standards of the restaurant.
- Monitor the freshness and quality of ingredients used in all baked goods and desserts.
- Taste test items and adjust recipes as needed.
- **Kitchen Management**:
- Oversee the daily operations of the pastry section, ensuring the efficient and smooth running of the kitchen.
- Supervise, train, and motivate pastry kitchen staff, ensuring that they meet the high standards of the restaurant.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the pastry kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- **Inventory Management**:
- Keep track of inventory, order supplies, and maintain an organized inventory system to avoid shortages or wastage.
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients to maintain freshness and quality.
- **Food Safety & Hygiene**:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring the highest standards of food handling, cleanliness, and sanitation.
- Monitor kitchen safety, ensuring all equipment is maintained and used properly.
- **Customer Satisfaction**:
- Work with the service team to ensure that desserts are served promptly and meet customer expectations.
- Address guest feedback regarding pastry items, ensuring satisfaction and making necessary adjustments.
- **Cost Control**:
- Manage pastry kitchen expenses and work to minimize food waste while maintaining quality.
- Assist in creating cost-effective recipes that fit within budget guidelines.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
