A Bakery cum Ice Cream Chef is a versatile culinary professional responsible for creating and producing a diverse range of baked goods and frozen desserts. This role involves managing both the bakery and ice cream production processes. Key responsibilities include:
- **Recipe Development**:
- Develop innovative and delicious recipes for a variety of baked goods, including bread, cakes, cookies, and pastries.
- Create unique and appealing flavors for ice cream and frozen desserts.
- **Production**:
- Oversee the production of baked items and ice cream, ensuring high-quality standards in taste, texture, and appearance.
- Coordinate and manage the workflow in both the bakery and ice cream production areas.
- **Quality Assurance**:
- Conduct regular taste tests and inspections to maintain consistent quality across all products.
- Implement and enforce strict quality control measures for both bakery and ice cream production.
- **Inventory Management**:
- Manage inventory of ingredients for both bakery and ice cream production.
- Ensure proper stock levels, freshness, and rotation of ingredients.
- **Menu Planning**:
- Collaborate with management to plan and update the menu for both the bakery and ice cream sections.
- Introduce seasonal variations and new items to attract and retain customers.
- **Team Leadership**:
- Supervise and train kitchen staff involved in both bakery and ice cream production.
- Delegate tasks efficiently to maintain a smooth workflow in both sections.
- **Equipment Maintenance**:
- Ensure the proper maintenance of bakery and ice cream production equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
- **Food Safety**:
- Adhere to and enforce proper food safety and sanitation standards in both the bakery and ice cream production areas.
- **Customer Interaction**:
- Interact with customers, provide information about both bakery and ice cream products, and handle special orders.
- Requirements:_
- Proven experience as a Bakery cum Ice Cream Chef or similar role.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification.
- Comprehensive knowledge of baking techniques, pastry arts, and ice cream making.
- Creative flair in recipe development for both bakery and frozen desserts.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and food safety protocols.
This role requires a well-rounded culinary professional who can seamlessly manage and excel in both bakery and ice cream production.
**Salary**: ₹11,303.93 - ₹36,544.59 per month
