Front Desk Executive

Roles & Responsibility:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner as they arrive at the hospital.
- Register patients, collect demographic and insurance information, and verify patient records accurately.
- Schedule patient appointments for consultations, treatments, and diagnostic tests using the hospital's scheduling system.
- Coordinate with medical staff and departments to ensure efficient allocation of appointment slots and resources.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries from patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers courteously and promptly.
- Assist patients with completing necessary paperwork, providing directions within the hospital, and arranging transportation or accommodation as needed.
- Coordinate patient referrals, transfers, and discharge processes in collaboration with clinical and administrative staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies.
- Retrieve and file medical records, update patient information in the electronic health record (EHR) system, and prepare records for appointments and admissions.
- Collect co-payments, deductibles, and outstanding balances from patients at the time of service, providing receipts and reconciling payments accurately.
- Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries, verify coverage, and coordinate with the billing department to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Brief the patient / family members complete package offered by Hospital.
- The Receptionist cum Counsellor may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the center's management team, such as managing inventory, coordinating with vendors, following up and supervision of maintenance activity or assisting with special events or projects.
- As a routine practice, call and enquire with patients about their health post CHEMO treatment.
- Assist with special projects, data entry tasks, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management team.
