Job Description
  • The candidate will be responsible for working closely with the Head of Business Development in ensuring that the key accounts are managed properly
  • S/he will be responsible for tracking the changes in regulations and any new developments in the power sector which will impact the business in the long run.
  • The candidate will be responsible for developing strategy plans while working with the senior management on the same
  • The candidate should have front end sales experience and, preferable, should have some experience of working with utilities
  • S/he will also work closely with the pre-sales team and review the bid documents and help give pointers for submission of bids too
The Successful Applicant
  • The successful candidate will be an engineer and an MBA with atleast 4 years of experience in front end sales in the renewable energy sector
  • S/he should have some experience of working with utilities or other clients in the public sector
  • S/he should have the ability to do commercial transactions and understand contracts.
  • The ideal candidate will have a background in the field of solar or wind energy
  • S/he should possess strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to take initiative independently
  • S/he should have an understanding of the Indian power sector and the regulations associated with it.
