We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Professional to manage end-to-end contract management, product documentation, and legal advisory support within the insurance domain. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing timely legal guidance to support business operations and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management

  • Handle end-to-end contract lifecycle negotiation, drafting, vetting, review, and execution.
  • Ensure timely closures of vendor and partner contracts with risk-mitigated negotiations.
  • Maintain and update standardized contract templates for efficiency and compliance.

Product Documentation & Advisory

  • Draft and update product terms and conditions aligned with regulatory requirements and business goals.
  • Provide legal advisory support to internal teams on contracts, compliance, and dispute resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and keep stakeholders updated on regulatory changes impacting business operations.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure all contracts and product documents comply with internal SOPs and applicable laws/regulations.
  • Prepare contract management reports for senior management decision-making.
  • Support property leasing and acquisition documentation in coordination with user functions.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with business functions to deliver practical, business-oriented legal solutions.
  • Proactively identify risks and provide guidance to prevent escalations.
  • Enhance legal processes to align with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.

Key Outcomes Expected

  • Timely execution of contracts and product documents to support business timelines.
  • Clear, compliant documentation that enhances stakeholder confidence.
  • Reduced escalations and delays through proactive legal support.
  • Alignment of legal processes with business and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Education: LLB (mandatory) specialization in Corporate/Commercial Law preferred.
  • Experience: (Insert range, e.g., 36 years) in contract management, drafting, and legal advisory (preferably in the insurance or BFSI sector).
  • Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, product documentation, and insurance regulations.
  • Proficient in contract negotiation, legal drafting, and compliance advisory.
  • Excellent research, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
