Job Title: Fleet Performance Manager

Location: Mumbai

Reports to: Head of Operations

Job Summary:

We're looking for a Fleet Performance Manager to lead the vessel performance function across a global client base. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Vessel Performance Function: Monitor, identify, and troubleshoot inefficiencies in vessel fuel consumption, engine performance, and auxiliary systems.

2. Investigations and Analysis: Conduct detailed investigations, develop action plans, and implement performance improvement measures.

3. Client Communications: Lead client communications, performance meetings, and monthly vessel performance reviews.

4. Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with modern technologies, evaluate decarbonization and energy efficiency projects, and plan crew training and operational optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Fresh C/E or 2/E with keen interest in vessel performance

- C/E or 2/E with prior experience in vessel performance

- Naval Architects with experience in vessel performance

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and people management skills

- Analytical skills in interpreting fuel curves, SFOC trends, and machinery operating profiles

Ideal Candidate:

- Chief Engineer with sailing experience on oil/chemical tankers or gas carriers

- Minimum 4 years of shore-based experience leading vessel performance functions
