Job Title: Academic Counsellor – Ed Tech Industry: Education / Ed Tech Employment Type: Full Time | On-Site Location: JP Nagar 3rd Phase, Bangalore Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday – Saturday) About the Role As an Academic Counsellor, you will guide students through their academic and career journeys, helping them make informed decisions, overcome challenges, and unlock their full potential. You will play a key role in student enrolment, counselling, and achieving sales targets in a fast-paced Ed Tech environment. Key Responsibilities • Conduct 150+ outbound calls daily to prospective students/leads. • Provide counselling sessions (walk-in & online) to address academic and career concerns. • Guide students on course selection, educational planning, and goal setting. • Explain program details, eligibility criteria, and assist in enrolment processes. • Schedule demo classes, follow up with leads, and ensure conversions. • Support students in creating personalized academic roadmaps. • Monitor student progress and recommend learning resources. • Maintain accurate records of sessions, call logs, and daily reports. • Collaborate with the Learning & Operations team to align batches and course flow. • Assist students and families with fee collection and payment updates. Preferred Candidate Profile • Experience: Minimum 1+ years in Ed Tech / Sales / Counselling. (Freshers will not be considered) • Language Requirement: English + Telugu (preferred), English + Hindi (acceptable) • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. • Confident, proactive, and target-driven. Compensation & Benefits • Salary Range: ■60,000 – ■6,00,000 per annum (based on experience & performance) • Ticket Size of Courses: ■60,000 – ■3,00,000 • Incentives: Weekly & Monthly performance-based incentives • Statutory Benefits: PF, Gratuity, Tax deductions • First 3 months: ■800 – ■1,000 • Thereafter: ■3,000 – ■3,500 Interview Process (Face-to-Face | 4–5 Rounds) • Screening Round • Sales Trainer Round • Negotiation Round • CEO / Co-Founder Round ■■ Note: Candidates must carry 2 hard copies of their resume for the interview.
