Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and grow a team of frontline sales professionals in the agency sales model within the assigned region.
  • Recruit and develop financial advisors/agents to drive insurance product sales.
  • Oversee the complete life cycle of agents – onboarding, training, performance tracking, and retention.
  • Conduct training on digital tools/apps to enable efficient customer servicing by agents.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets in line with business goals.
  • Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and implement strategies for employee growth and team development.
  • Motivate and support field teams to enhance productivity and engagement.
  • Ensure strict compliance with regulatory norms and internal processes.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service across sales channels and distribution points.
  • Expand and manage the agency distribution network in the region.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure optimal manpower allocation across territories.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Minimum HSC (12th pass); Graduation preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales and Business Development within the General Insurance or Financial Services sector.
  • Domain Knowledge:

  • Solid experience of sales processes in the insurance domain.

  • Exposure to multiple insurance verticals (Life, Health, Motor) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with financial products and advisory channels.

  • Skills:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related digital tools.
