The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.Experience required- 8-14 YrsBudget- 13 LPALocation- GurgaonResponsibilities1. Project Cost AccountingSet up and improve project-wise accounting structures SAPEnsure adequate documentation for projectsMonitor BOQ vs actual cost tracking (material, labour, subcontractor, overheads)Validate percentage completion logicWork closely with project managers for cost-to-complete analysis2. Client Billing & CollectionsEnsure timely raising of invoices as per client billing milestonesTrack certification of RA bills and follow up with clientsCoordinate with compliance/project team on billing disputes or holdbacksReconcile client receivables aging and ensure collection timelines are met3. Vendor & Subcontractor PaymentsOversee subcontractor billing validation against work done / PO termsEnsure all invoices issued by vendors are received and recorded in a timely manner and on a First time right approachEnsure timely processing of vendor payments based on credit terms and project cash flowsEnforce withholding of payments for delayed or non-compliant vendors4. Budgeting, MIS & ControlsDrive Daily Cash flow report – Payments summary at vendor and project level; overall cash flow mismatch at project levelDrive monthly project-wise MIS: P&L, cost overrun alerts, cash flow statusBuild & maintain project budgets, identify overruns proactivelyTrack change orders, variations, and update budgets accordingly5. Compliance & ControlsEnsure TDS, GST, and RCM (Reverse Charge Mechanism) compliance on all project expensesCoordinate with non-compliant vendors basis vendor tax compliance status issued by TaxTeam; for repeated non-compliance block payments and apprise businessInterface with statutory auditors and internal auditors for project auditsEnsure clean, auditable data trails on project accounting, billing, and PO workflows6. Team ManagementManage a team of ops accounting staffSet SOPs, checklists, and escalation protocolsConduct periodic training and reviews
