Job Title: Commercial Executive

Location: Bengaluru Airport Services Limited (BASL), Trichy International Airport

Job Purpose:

The Executive Commercials will support the commercial operations of BASL at Trichy Airport as well as any other locations as designated by BASL. This role ensuring smooth execution of day-to-day commercial activities, Including vendor management, billing, and reporting. The Executive will assist in revenue generation efforts, coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders, and uphold compliance with company policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Operations

  • Support day-to-day commercial activities of lounges and passenger services at Trichy Airport.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing commercial agreements, contracts, and related documentation.
  • Track revenue, costs, and payments to ensure timely billing and collections.
  • Coordinate with finance teams for reconciliation of accounts, invoices, and vendor payments.

Vendor & Client Coordination

  • Maintain good relationships with vendors and service partners for smooth operations.
  • Monitor vendor deliverables, service quality, and ensure compliance with agreed terms.
  • Coordinate with corporate clients, travel partners, and walk-in customers for commercial queries.

Sales & Revenue Support

  • Assist in implementing local sales initiatives to drive lounge usage and revenue growth.
  • Support the reporting manager with data collection, reporting, and market insights.
  • Track occupancy, usage patterns, and provide inputs for pricing and promotions.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, agreements, payments, and reports.
  • Prepare MIS reports on revenue, vendor performance, and expenses for management review. Support audits and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)., and vendor management.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to handle reports and financial data.
  • Proficient in MS Office(Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced airport environment.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or Hospitality Management.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in commercial, sales support, or finance roles in hospitality, travel, or service industry.
  • Experience in airport/lounge operations/airport services, hotel sales, travel preferred.
