Join us and let’s make history Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It) What You'll Be Doing Robust Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services that support dynamic content generation and delivery for client websites. Optimize Data Workflows: Streamline data processing workflows to ensure high performance and low latency. Database Management: Implement and manage database solutions, focusing on vector databases for efficient resource retrieval. Data Pipelines: Develop and maintain data pipelines to scrape and ingest data from websites and other public domain sources, storing it efficiently in vector databases. Seamless Integration: Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration and data flow. Infrastructure Security and Scalability: Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of the backend infrastructure. Continuously enhance our engineering processes, tools, and systems to scale our codebase, boost productivity, and support team growth. What You Bring to the Table Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Minimum 4 years of experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Node.js or Python Experience with designing and implementing RESTful APIs Strong understanding of database management, particularly with vector databases Experience in building data pipelines for scraping and ingesting data from various sources Work with the founders and customers to turn product ideas into engineering solutions Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and teamwork abilities What Would Be Awesome Experience with B2B tools or SaaS products, ideally at an early stage company Familiarity with front-end technologies to facilitate better collaboration with frontend developers Knowledge of modern build tools and version control systems like Git Experience with AWS cloud services Understanding of security best practices for backend development
