Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It)

What You'll Be Doing

- Robust Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services that support dynamic content generation and delivery for client websites.- Optimize Data Workflows: Streamline data processing workflows to ensure high performance and low latency.- Database Management: Implement and manage database solutions, focusing on vector databases for efficient resource retrieval.- Data Pipelines: Develop and maintain data pipelines to scrape and ingest data from websites and other public domain sources, storing it efficiently in vector databases.- Seamless Integration: Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration and data flow.- Infrastructure Security and Scalability: Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of the backend infrastructure.- Continuously enhance our engineering processes, tools, and systems to scale our codebase, boost productivity, and support team growth.

What You Bring to the Table

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role- Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Node.js or Python- Experience with designing and implementing RESTful APIs- Strong understanding of database management, particularly with vector databases- Experience in building data pipelines for scraping and ingesting data from various sources- Work with the founders and customers to turn product ideas into engineering solutions- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Strong communication and teamwork abilities

What Would Be Awesome

- Experience with B2B tools or SaaS products, ideally at an early stage company- Familiarity with front-end technologies to facilitate better collaboration with frontend developers- Knowledge of modern build tools and version control systems like Git- Experience with AWS cloud services- Understanding of security best practices for backend development- Track record of shipping high-quality products at scale
