Job Title:  IT Governance Specialist (IT Audit & Compliance Specialist)

Function/Department:  Information Technology 

Job Purpose:

To manage and organize IT policies and standards in support of legal and regulatory compliance needs as well as supporting the remediation Program of audit observations. To ensure adequate coordination between the 1st line of defence (Business, Operations & Technology) and 3rd line of defence (Internal Audit) such that all tasks related to audit lifecycle are achieved within agreed timelines.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Manage IT audits (internal/external), assist IT team with resolution of observations raised during internal or external audits. Ensures compliance with all policies and standards in the execution of technology projects. Custodian of IT governance and IT process governance frameworks Provide guidance and trainings to Project team members in the field regarding IT governance. Create and maintain library of governance artifacts and other supporting documentation.  Proactively identify and manage risks/issues, ensure proper visibility and communication occur to senior management. Track and manage various IT Governance dashboards and reports. Communicate with various teams to bridge any gaps in the reports and dashboards. Identify improvements and breakdowns in IT governance elements with significant business impact. Capture and share best- practice knowledge amongst the team. Create an environment that promotes collaborative learning and collective ownership of responsibilities.

  Education Qualification (Fulltime):  

Graduation: Bachelor of Technology – , Bachelor of Computer Applications - BCA, Bachelor of Engineering - BE, Bachelor of Science -

Post-graduation: Master of Technology – , Master of Computer Applications - MCA, Master of Business Administration - MBA, Master of Science -

Preferred Certifications: CISA, ISO 27001: Lead Auditor or equivalent are preferred.

Experience:  

Minimum of 5+ Years in IT Audit (Internal Audit/ External Audit), IT Governance & Compliance.
