Job Title: IT SupportEngineer

Experience:1-2 Years

NoticePeriod: Immediate to 15 days

Location: Bangalore

JD:

Responsibilities:

·Troubleshoot hardware, software andnetwork issues on Endpoints and networks.

·Be an L1 support for end usersupport by assisting them with endpoint and network related issues.

·Analyze the problem statement andhave capability to resolve this.

·Logging all support interactions andactivities in a ticketing system, including initial contact, diagnostic stepstaken, and resolutions provided, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

·Recognizing when issues requireescalation to higher-level support teams (L2/L3) or specialized groups forfurther investigation and resolution, and appropriately escalating ticketswhile ensuring users are kept informed of the status

·Following up with users to ensurethat reported issues have been satisfactorily resolved and providing additionalassistance or guidance as needed.

·Monitoring system alerts andperformance indicators to identify potential issues proactively, and generatingreports on support metrics, ticket trends, and user satisfaction levels asrequired.

·Adhering to company policies,procedures, and security protocols when handling user data, accessing systems,and performing support tasks to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, andcompliance with regulatory requirements

·Capacity to continuously learn andthrive towards permanent fix of problem.

·Installations of applicationsthrough GUI/ CLI modes.

Requirements:

·Should possess knowledge aboutNetworking basics like, VLAN, LAN, Public or Private IP range, OSI Layers.

·Basic knowledge about Anti-Virussoftwares.

·Strong skills on Operating systems,H/W and S/W troubleshooting steps.

·Good documentation skills (SOP,process oriented)

·Skills to manage assets and processoriented work.

·Basic skills of Change managementand Incident management.

·Good analytical and problem-solvingskills.

·Dependable and flexible whennecessary

·Willing to relocate and travel ifneeded.

·IT certification if any an advantageeg. ComptiaA+, MCP, MCSA / CCNA.

·Basic Knowledge about SASEapplications, how they work, Manage and support SASE installations and useraccess.

·Assist with user queries andtroubleshooting related to SASE softwareHands on Experience/ Knowledge for anyWireless Access Points.

·Good understanding about usingticketing tools JIRA, Manage Engine Service Desk.
