Senior Linux Systems Administrator/Engineer.

Location : Bangalore.

Years of Experience : 8 yrs.

Detailed Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Linux Systems Administrator/Engineer with over 8 years of experience in Red Hat Linux administration to join our team in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux system administration, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of Red Hat Linux servers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Linux servers.

- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of Linux servers.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux servers.

- Implement and maintain security measures for Linux servers.

- Collaborate with other teams to support application requirements on Linux servers.

- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.

- Document system configurations and procedures.

Mandatory Skills:

- 8+ years of experience in Linux system administration.

- Strong knowledge of Red Hat Linux administration.

- Experience with Linux server virtualization (e.g., KVM).

- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation.

Desired Skills:

- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification or equivalent.

Additional Requirements:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
