Poindexter & Co., Inc. & is headquartered in Houston, Texas, USA.POSITION SUMMARY:The primary role of the HRIS Analyst is to provide analytical support to the Human Resources department to help measure various HR-related parameters. The role may also require assistance in maintaining the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) in addition to other systems supported by the HR team. This position supports HRIS upgrades, patches, testing, and other technical projects as assigned. Recruitment activities may also be required as and when required.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Reporting & Activities:Generate all HR-related reports such as:1.Absence Reporting2.Attendance & Overtime Reporting3.Monthly JBPCO & Morgan People Reporting4.Bonus Payment Activity5.Monthly People Readiness6.Scheduling organization-wide surveys and analyzing results7.Any other ad hoc requests as they come
Projects/Process Improvement:Recommend process/customer service improvements, and innovative solutions to support the North American Human Resources team.Support the North American benefits team in projects as and when required. These include but are not limited to:ACA Forms401K report generationTraining:Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation and continue to update as necessary. Train clients on new processes/functionality and train new system users.Individual Development:Maintain awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product and service development, delivery, and support, and applying key technologies. Examine trends in information systems training, materials, and techniques.Through classes and provider seminars, continuously increase both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge.Participate in user group meetings/conferences.Compensation:Support the compensation team in analyzing compensation and benefits-related data as and when required.Recruitment:Minimal recruitment may be required on a need basis.
EXPERTISE REQUIRED:Bachelor’s degree required in a quantitative field, preferred, or equivalent work experience.A degree in Human Resources is preferred but not required.3 to 5 years’ HRIS or equivalent experience.1-3 years’ Project Management experience or Systems Implementation experience.Strong understanding of HRMS database design, structure, functions, and processes, and experience with database tools.Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Experience with an HRMS such as Ceridian, Ceridian Dayforce HCM, WFM.Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projectsProven (demonstrated) strength in quantitative ability.
