To help strengthen our branding and growth, we are now seeking an experienced Regional Director of Marketing and Communications for the Asia Pacific region. Reporting to the Regional Chief Executive Officer, Asia, with a dotted line to the Business Unit Managing Partner, Australia, and working closely with the Global Director of Marketing & Communications, this role will focus on driving the marketing and communications initiatives to support ERM’s regional growth agenda. Key Responsibilities: Develop an integrated external and internal marketing and communication strategy to support ERM’s business strategy in the APAC region across 13 countries, to enhance the company’s branding and deepen client's engagement. Engage key business stakeholders (e.g. regional leadership, commercial team by services and sectors) in the development, adaptation and implementation of ERM’s marketing and communications strategy in APAC. Align with the Global Marketing and Communications strategy and approach, ensuring consistency of messaging across channels and audience groups. Adopt and deliver global marketing initiatives through a regional lens, engaging clients around key campaign themes. Able to strategies, plan and execute impactful campaigns through integrated marketing and communications, cutting across conferences, webinars, thought leadership, content curation, digital marketing, media relations, industry memberships, collaterals production and internal/executive communications. Identify, develop and deliver marquee events to raise brand profile of ERM within the APAC region, providing a clear focus on maximizing ROI. Identify local content that can be amplified globally to relevant audiences e.g. client impact stories, points of view, thought leadership. Provide ad-hoc strategic marketing and communications advice on best approach to manage any project work related communications and mitigate any reputational risks. Support the regional leadership team in the employee communications and engagement activities. Inspire, coach and bring together the regional marketing and communications community, to elevate the overall marketing know-how and bring about consistency and quality across the region. Manage the overall APAC and in-country marketing budget, to ensure financial prudence and marketing efficiency. Manage resource requirement through retainer engagement with external agencies / contracting resources on an ad hoc basis. Requirements: 12-15 years of experience in leading and implementing marketing & communications strategies, preferably within a matrixed environment and ideally, a professional services environment (or other relevant sector) Strong interpersonal skills and significant experience in working with senior leadership teams and other key stakeholders Expert verbal and written communication skills with proven credentials and examples Strong knowledge and abilities to use multiple platforms and channels (including digital) for a range of audiences Strong knowledge of marketing and communication technologies and tools Excellent project management skills, analytical and business acumen Strong people management and interpersonal skills Interest in commercial aspects of the business, and passionate in sustainability, climate change, low carbon etc. Ways of working: Dynamic self-starter with experience in aligning and delivering best-in-class marketing and communications strategies to deliver business objectives Comfortable working within a complex structure and managing multiple stakeholders Tact and diplomacy to work with senior stakeholders and potentially competing agendas Ability to manage your own diverse workload to required deadlines and able to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines/priorities simultaneously Highly motivated with a practical, can-do attitude
