Vice President, Brand Director – APAC
Consumer Electronics | Global Brand | Reports to Global Brand Officer
We are seeking an exceptional Vice President, Brand Director – APAC to lead brand strategy and execution across one of the world's most dynamic and diverse regions. This role is responsible for driving brand growth, consistency, and resonance across Asia-Pacific markets for a global consumer electronics brand. Reporting directly to the Global Brand Officer, the VP will serve as the regional brand steward, translating global vision into locally relevant campaigns and experiences that connect with millions of consumers.
As the senior brand leader in APAC, you will oversee regional brand planning, integrated marketing, and consumer insights, ensuring alignment with global brand standards while adapting to local market nuances. You will partner closely with regional business leaders, creative agencies, media partners, and cross-functional teams to deliver breakthrough brand initiatives that drive awareness, preference, and loyalty.
This role demands a visionary leader with deep experience in consumer electronics, a strong understanding of APAC markets, and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams across cultures. You will manage a regional brand organization spanning multiple countries, guiding strategy, execution, and innovation with agility and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and execution of APAC brand strategy in alignment with global brand direction
• Translate global brand positioning into locally relevant campaigns, messaging, and experiences
• Oversee integrated marketing planning across digital, retail, experiential, and media channels
• Drive consumer insights and market intelligence to inform brand decisions and innovation
• Partner with global and regional stakeholders to ensure brand consistency and impact
• Manage relationships with creative and media agencies, ensuring excellence in execution
• Lead and inspire a regional brand team across multiple APAC markets, fostering collaboration and performance
• Monitor brand health metrics and campaign effectiveness, continuously optimizing for growth
• Serve as the voice of the APAC consumer within the global brand organization
Qualifications:
• 15+ years of brand leadership experience in consumer electronics or related industries
• Deep understanding of APAC markets, cultures, and consumer behavior
• Proven success in translating global brand strategies into regional execution
• Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing large, multicultural teams
• Strong strategic thinking, creative judgment, and analytical capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Fluency in English required; additional APAC languages a plus
