Job Description:
The Sr. Sale and Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for the automotive sector. This role requires a strategic leader with in-depth knowledge of automotive wiring solutions, strong sales management skills, and the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in the automotive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and market share expansion in the automotive sector, aligned with overall business objectives.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, including OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and electric vehicle manufacturers, and drive market penetration through targeted sales initiatives.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior decision-makers at key automotive clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering strong partnerships.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Oversee sales forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking, ensuring alignment with company goals and the timely achievement of sales targets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, R&D, and technical support, to ensure product offerings meet client needs and industry standards.
- Solution Selling: Provide expert-level guidance on automotive wiring solutions.
- Negotiation & Closure: Lead negotiations for high-value contracts and ensure successful deal closures by effectively presenting the companys value proposition.
- Market Insights & Competitor Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities and threats, ensuring the company remains competitive and innovative.
Preferred candidate profile
Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably within the automotive or electrical components industry.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of automotive wiring solutions .
- Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience working with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and a deep understanding of automotive industry standards.
- Sales Leadership: Proven success in leading and motivating sales teams, setting and achieving targets, and driving business growth.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to interact with senior executives and clients.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities, with experience in sales forecasting, data analysis, and strategic decision-making.
- Collaboration: Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and technical teams to ensure successful product offerings and sales strategies.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, trade shows, and site visits.

- Strong network within the automotive OEM and Tier 1 supplier community.
