We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Travel & Expense to join our TEAM. This position is available at a Clarivate office in Bangalore. We have a great skill set in Expense & Card management and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in employee transit, including commuting solutions and the Corporate Fleet program.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments 

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Transportation Management, or related field. At least 10 years of experience in tax and expense (T&E) audit, T&E system administration knowledge, corporate card and p-card program administration. Oversee all aspects of commuting solutions and fleet operations. Develop contingency plans for emergencies or disruptions in transportation services to minimize disruptions to employee transit. Implement initiatives to promote sustainable commuting practices and reduce the environmental impact of employee transit. Collaborate with other departments to integrate commuting solutions with overall workplace policies and infrastructure.

Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with transportation regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies. Proficiency in fleet management software and technology solutions. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Prior experience in a managerial or leadership role preferred.

What will you be doing in this role?  

Develop and implement strategies to ensure smooth and efficient employee transit, including commuting solutions and the Corporate Fleet program. Manage transportation logistics for employees, considering factors such as distance, traffic conditions, and public transportation availability. Coordinate and automate transportation services such as buses, shuttles, carpooling, to ensure timely and cost-effective transit. Negotiate contracts with transportation service providers and vendors to ensure service quality and compliance with safety regulations. Monitor transportation expenses, analyze cost-effectiveness, and identify opportunities for optimization while maintaining service quality. Communicate commuting policies and options to employees, gather feedback, and address concerns to enhance employee satisfaction. Collect and analyze data on commuting patterns, transportation services, and employee feedback to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies. Manage vehicle acquisition, maintenance, compliance, driver management, fuel management, inventory, safety, cost control, budgeting, technology integration, and environmental sustainability for the company's fleet.

About the Team

Clarivate’s Travel, Expense and Card platforms supports 12k colleagues in 40+ countries. Our mission is to efficiently oversee and streamline our Travel, T&E processes, reimbursement procedures and ensuring compliance with the company policies and financial regulations. 

Hours of Work   

12 pm -9pm shift (but flexible) IST, to overlap with the North America team for training/collaboration. Hybrid work model, office with 2-3 days required in the office weekly.
