
Support Engineer

Role & responsibilities
- Provide L1 to L3 technical support for the AAmaze PFM platform at the client site.
- Monitor production jobs (PySpark pipelines, PostgreSQL & ClickHouse data dumps) and ensure SLA compliance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues ranging from basic application queries to deeper system-level incidents.
- Escalate complex issues to engineering teams with proper documentation and logs.
- Work closely with client teams to provide timely updates, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and resolution plans.
- Maintain issue logs, FAQs, and runbooks for faster problem resolution.
- Participate in shift rotations to provide 24x7 coverage.
Required Skills & Attributes
- B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT) or equivalent fresher graduates.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Basic understanding of databases (SQL knowledge preferred).
- Familiarity with Linux command-line operations.
- Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
- Good communication skills for interaction with client stakeholders.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Nice-to-Have (Plus Points)
- Exposure to Python/PySpark.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Prior internship or project in data engineering or support.
