Role description
Geography Liability Portfolio Manager – Medium Enterprises GroupAbout Commercial Banking Coverage Group The Commercial Banking Group is responsible for delivering One Axis to clients with a turnover between Rs 10 Crs. to Rs 350 Crs. by offering both credit and liability products & solutions around forex, trade, payments, cash management and tax payments along with retail products like salary, trust services, forex, commercial card, credit cards etc About the Role Geography Liability Portfolio Manager will be driving liability and third-party products by ensuring regular co-ordination with MEG GHs, State Heads and RMs, ensuring desired productivity and PPC growth.Candidate will be a key resource well-versed in liability products such Current Accounts/ Term Deposits and will be driving the other cross-sell products such as Burgundy Private, SA VCIP, GI and LI for MEG customers. Developing strategies and campaigns within geography to ensure liability and third party budgets are met. This position will be reporting to Geography Head - MEGKey Responsibilities Account planning –Plot cross sell products missing against each account, set up a plan and ensure delivery. To ensure regular cadence with branch banking team, monitor lead progress, assess quality and quantity of leads. Candidate will co-ordinate with respective RBBHs, Circle heads and ensure desired outcomes on leads. Ensuring desired growth of liability book across products such as CA CDAB, Term Deposit and Salary Accounts in MEG, by coordinating with RMs, Customers and branch banking teams. Growing CA and CMS fees. Ensuring regular cadence with Burgundy Private, LI, GI and Salary teams to track and ensure onboarding of ETB and NTB customers. Training RMs on liability products and third party products such as LI and GI. Ensuring 100% SP certification for RMs. Qualifications Optimal qualification for success on the job is: MBA, CA, Other Post graduate qualification. Experience: min 5-8 years handing liability sales, branch banking, third party products etc. Role Proficiencies: For successful execution of the job, a candidate should possess the following: Candidate should be a go getter. In-depth knowledge of various liability products, CMS, and third party products. Should be able to plan and execute budgets for various products in coordination with GHS, State Heads, RMs, branches and product teams. Good communication and inter-personal skills. Should be able to motivate and train RMs to get desired level of productivity. Should be able to deal with various hierarchies to drive the agenda. Should be able to effectively deal with customers, branch banking, WBO and products teams to ensure maximum PPC penetration and revenue growth. Should be able to independently plan and execute the strategy to achieve the desired growth in liability and treasury business. Grade – AVP
