Role & responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies to achieve student admission targets.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, corporates, and training partners.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the institutes footprint.
* Conduct market research to understand student needs, competitor activities, and emerging trends.
* Represent the institute at events, seminars, and educational fairs.
* Work closely with the marketing team to design campaigns that generate leads and improve brand visibility.
* Create proposals and presentations for institutional collaborations and partnerships.
* Track performance metrics, prepare reports, and present insights to senior management.
* Mentor and guide the counselling/sales team to achieve collective goals.
Preferred candidate profile
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and creating strategies to boost enrolments and institutional tie-ups. Youll be the face of the institute in the market and will directly contribute to its growth story.
Bachelors/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
* 4–8 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (preferably in the education/EdTech sector).
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build lasting relationships with stakeholders.
* Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Comfortable with travel and fieldwork when required.
