Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru, India. As a Retention Marketing Specialist at Decode Age®, you will play a crucial role in crafting and executing strategies across multiple platforms—including Shopify, Amazon, WhatsApp, email, and other relevant channels—to enhance customer retention and engagement. Your mission will be to create a seamless and personalised experience for our customers, encouraging long-term loyalty and supporting our brand's growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive retention strategies to increase customer lifetime value and reduce churn, utilising platforms like Shopify, Amazon, and others.
Design and manage targeted email marketing campaigns, WhatsApp messaging, and potential SMS campaigns, from conceptualization to analysis, focusing on personalization and customer journey enhancement.
Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align campaigns with ongoing promotions and product launches.
Leverage analytics to monitor user behavior and campaign performance across all channels to refine strategies and increase effectiveness.
Implement and optimise loyalty programs and promotional strategies tailored to customer segments to boost retention.
Stay abreast of the latest trends in retention marketing and apply best practices for digital marketing in the eCommerce and health sectors.
Use marketing automation tools and CRM systems effectively to manage campaigns and ensure consistent communication with our audience.
Coordinate with the content team to ensure that messaging is compelling and on-brand across all channels.
Provide insights and regular reports on campaign success, including analysis of KPIs and ROI from retention-focused initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in retention marketing, with a strong background in digital marketing environments including eCommerce and direct-to-consumer channels.
Expertise in using email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and familiarity with eCommerce platforms like Shopify and Amazon.
Proficient in marketing automation and CRM software to streamline customer interactions and increase marketing efficiencies.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and market trends to adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for creating engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of regulations and best practices in digital communication (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL).
Experience in A/B testing, segmentation, and campaign optimization to drive campaign improvements.
HTML/CSS knowledge and email design best practices are preferred.
Certifications in digital marketing or email marketing (e.g., HubSpot Email Marketing Certification) are beneficial but not essential.
