Role Overview
We are seeking a Product Support Specialist with 2–4 years of relevant experience in the payments/fintech industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical and functional support to merchants, partners, and internal teams, ensuring smooth adoption and usage of Payomatix's payment products.
Key Responsibilities
· Act as the primary point of contact for product-related queries, issues, and escalations.
· Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for Payomatix payment products and services.
· Troubleshoot technical issues related to payment gateways, APIs, integrations, and merchant dashboards.
· Collaborate with the tech, product, and business teams to resolve issues effectively.
· Document support cases, maintain knowledge bases, and suggest process improvements.
· Assist in merchant onboarding, training, and product demonstrations as required.
· Monitor product performance and escalate recurring issues to product/tech teams, ensuring functionality is refined based on client feedback.
· Ensure timely client communication on transaction issues, with proactive monitoring and prompt updates.
· Stay updated with industry compliance, payment regulations, and fintech trends.
Key Requirements
· 2–4 years of experience in product/technical support within the payment or fintech industry (Payment Gateways, UPI, Cards, Wallets, Net Banking, etc.).
· Strong understanding of payment flows, transaction lifecycle, chargebacks, settlements, and integrations.
· Familiarity with APIs, Postman, SQL queries, and payment SDKs (preferred).
· Excellent problem-solving skills with strong customer-first orientation.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with merchants and internal stakeholders.
· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple support requests simultaneously.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
