Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager & Administration professional with 5 to 10 years of proven experience in the interior designing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, talent acquisition, employee relations, and general administration functions within the organization. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with a deep understanding of HR best practices and industry regulations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies and policies in alignment with company objectives and industry standards.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs, skills gaps, and talent development opportunities.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and facilitate career development plans for employees.
Oversee employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and safety standards at all levels of the organization.
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and job performance.
Maintain accurate HR records and data, including personnel files, attendance records, and payroll information.
Manage payroll processing, including salary calculations, deductions, and tax filings, in collaboration with finance department.
Supervise administrative staff and office operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and a positive work environment.
Oversee facility management tasks, including maintenance, security, and procurement of office supplies and equipment.
Coordinate corporate events, meetings, and employee engagement activities to foster a sense of community and teamwork.
Prepare HR reports, metrics, and analytics to support decision-making and monitor key performance indicators.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in HR and administration.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
5 to 10 years of progressive experience in HR management and administration, preferably in the interior designing or related industry.
Thorough knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws (local, state, federal).
Experience with talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and resolve conflicts effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
Proficiency in HRIS software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other HR management tools.
Proven leadership abilities with a hands-on approach and a focus on results and continuous improvement.
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive information and situations.
