You will be working as the Country Sales Head in our 2-Wheeler - Sales & Marketing Department. This department works ardently towards achieving profit and revenue targets set by the organization and aims to significantly enhance the market share of the products.
WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE IN THE ROLE
You will work towards leading the sales department, defining and communicating business targets to the team, overseeing activities and monitoring performance of the sales team and ensuring sales goals of the company are met across all regions in support with the Regional Managers in their respective regions.
Your key deliverables
Developing sales plans including identification of target groups, marketing tactics and timelines; participate in the planning and sales process for new business opportunities
Developing and implementing short and long- term effective sales strategies and lead nationwide sales teams to achieve sales targets
Meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic market objectives through dealer network for the growth of organization
Introducing dealer management practices that include developing performance objectives, financial targets and critical milestones associated with a productive dealer relationship
Appointing new dealers as well as developing the competency of weak dealers across the country
Coordinating with regional and unit managers for development of sales and marketing programs required for achieving targeted objectives for the dealers
Providing quality leadership for internal teams for handling dealers and responsible for training teams to effectively sell products
Managing potential dealer conflict by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to rules of Engagement
Monitoring, analyzing performance metrics, suggesting improvements, negotiating and closing agreements with large customers
Evaluating market trends and gathering competitive information, identifying trends that effect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability. Disseminating information to regional sales representatives, corporate marketing and sales operations
Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and supervising preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual sales report
Making optimum use of Market intelligence to identify new market opportunities and liaising with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
Monitoring weekly sales and customer service meetings to ensure the teams are on track to achieve and exceed budgeted targets, through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development
Scanning the environment to understand competitor's activities, demand-supply scenario and regulatory issues to formulate strategies for increasing market share
Monitoring pricing patterns within the market, checking prices for different products, deciding upon pricing from time to time on a need basis to ensure products are sold with highest recoveries possible
Leveraging on the CRM Data insights and data while planning sales activities
Coordinating closely with the regional Service Team Members to align to the customers feedback and proactively meet the customers queries and expectations
Essential Qualification:
BE/B.Tech (Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering)
MBA (Sales & Marketing)
Preferred Technical Skills and Certification
Premium Product Sales experience is a must
Experience in developing new sales strategies and interest in conducting research, evaluating product/market situations and analyzing raw
Work Experience
Total 15+ years of experience in the industry
Proven Premium Product Sales experience in a fast-paced dynamic business environment
Automobile OEM’s Two-Wheeler or related fields
