  1. Electrical Engineers (4 Positions)

Role Summary:

Responsible for basic and detailed electrical design of Balance of Plant (BOP) systems for 800 MW thermal units. Will handle system studies, equipment sizing, layouts, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare single line diagrams, key power distribution diagrams, and load lists.
  • Perform transformer, cable, and switchgear sizing calculations.
  • Develop technical specifications for electrical equipment (HV/MV/LV).
  • Prepare cable schedules, earthing and lightning protection design.
  • Carry out illumination and power distribution layouts.
  • Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and C&I teams for interface requirements.
  • Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance with project specs.
  • Support in preparation of BOQs and engineering deliverables.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
  • 510 years experience in electrical design for thermal power plants / BOP systems.
  • Proficiency in ETAP or equivalent software for system studies.
  • Good knowledge of IS/IEC standards and utility specifications.
  • Strong communication and team coordination skills.

  1. Senior Electrical Designer (1 Position)

Role Summary:

Lead the preparation of electrical layouts and detailed design drawings, guiding the draftsmen and coordinating with engineers to ensure deliverables are accurate and timely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and check electrical layouts (substations, cable routing, earthing, lighting, etc.).
  • Translate engineering inputs into design drawings.
  • Supervise and mentor draftsmen.
  • Ensure drawing quality and adherence to standards.
  • Work closely with engineering team for smooth workflow.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • 812 years' experience in electrical design/drafting for power plants.
  • Strong expertise in AutoCAD; knowledge of 3D tools is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to lead a small drafting/design team.

  1. Electrical Draftsmen (4 Positions)

Role Summary:

Prepare accurate and detailed electrical drawings under the guidance of engineers and designers, ensuring completeness and compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop single line diagrams, GA drawings, wiring diagrams, and cable routing layouts.
  • Prepare lighting, earthing, and lightning protection layouts.
  • Support preparation of cable schedules and terminations.
  • Maintain drawing registers and revisions.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers and designers to deliver high-quality outputs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • ITI/Diploma in Electrical Draftsmanship.
  • 3–7 years' experience in power plant / industrial electrical drafting.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; exposure to 3D design tools is a plus.
  • Ability to deliver neat, precise, and error-free drawings.
