  1. Lead Engineer Coal Handling Basic & Detailed Design

Role Summary:

Responsible for leading the mechanical design of coal handling systems, including sizing calculations, equipment selection, layouts, and detailed engineering. Will coordinate across civil, electrical, and control & instrumentation disciplines, and lead a team of engineers and designers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform sizing calculations for conveyors, crushers, screens, stacker reclaimers, etc.
  • Develop mechanical layouts (general arrangement, transfer points, junction houses, etc.).
  • Lead detailed design activities for coal handling systems.
  • Interface with civil, electrical, and C&I teams for integrated design.
  • Guide junior engineers, designers, and draftsmen in design deliverables.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings and documents.
  • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.Tech/ B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10–15 years' experience in coal handling plant design (basic + detailed engineering).
  • Proven leadership ability in multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of material handling equipment and bulk solids handling.

  1. Mechanical Designer – Coal Handling Plants

Role Summary:

Assist the lead engineer in preparing layouts, detailed designs, and equipment specifications for coal handling systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on detailed design packages for conveyors, crushers, hoppers, feeders, etc.
  • Prepare and check equipment and layout drawings.
  • Support in material take-offs and bill of materials.
  • Coordinate with drafting team for preparation of detailed drawings.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
  • 5–10 years' experience in mechanical design of coal handling plants.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD/3D design software.
  • Good understanding of fabrication drawings and design standards.

  1. Draftsmen – Coal Handling Design (4 Positions)

Role Summary:

Prepare accurate detailed drawings under the guidance of engineers and designers, ensuring clarity, correctness, and compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare GA drawings, equipment drawings, fabrication details, and layout drawings.
  • Develop isometric and assembly drawings from design inputs.
  • Maintain drawing records and revisions.
  • Work closely with engineers and designers for timely deliverables.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • ITI/Diploma in Draftsmanship (Mechanical).
  • 3–7 years' experience in drafting for coal/ash handling plants or bulk material handling systems.
  • Strong AutoCAD skills; 3D software knowledge is an advantage.
  • Ability to produce neat, precise, and detailed engineering drawings.
