1. Civil Structural Engineers (6 Positions)

Role Summary:

Responsible for basic and detailed civil & structural design of a thermal power plant. Will perform analysis, design, and coordination for foundations, structures, and plant buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform design and analysis of foundations for heavy equipment (boilers, turbines, generators, coal/ash handling equipment, etc.).
  • Design RCC and steel structures (chimneys, cooling towers, silos, pipe racks, etc.).
  • Prepare design basis reports, calculations, and technical specifications.
  • Review geotechnical reports and incorporate soil data into foundation design.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and C&I teams for design interfaces.
  • Review vendor and subcontractor drawings for compliance.
  • Ensure designs meet IS codes, IBC, ACI, BS, and project-specific standards.
  • Support BOQ preparation and quantity estimations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech in Structural preferred for some roles).
  • 5 TO 12 years experience in power plant civil & structural design.
  • Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or equivalent structural analysis software.
  • Sound knowledge of IS codes and international standards.

Strong team coordination and communication skills.

2. Civil Structural Draftsmen (8 Positions)

Role Summary:

Prepare accurate and detailed drawings for civil foundations, RCC structures, steel structures, and layouts under guidance of civil engineers and designers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop foundation drawings for equipment and buildings.
  • Prepare GA drawings, reinforcement detailing, and structural steel drawings.
  • Produce layouts for pipe racks, silos, chimneys, and ancillary structures.
  • Support preparation of bar bending schedules and fabrication drawings.
  • Maintain drawing records, revisions, and ensure drawing quality.
  • Work closely with engineers/designers for timely deliverables.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • ITI/Diploma in Civil Draftsmanship.
  • 3 TO 7 years experience in civil/structural drafting for power plants or industrial projects.
