SN Gene Lab is Gujarat's first full-fledged NABL accredited and ISO 15189 genetic laboratory, situated in the bustling city of Surat. Founded by Dr. Salil Vaniawala, a renowned Ph.D. in Human Genetics, SN Gene Lab aims to advance the science of genetic testing for the benefit of patients. The lab offers a comprehensive range of tests, including cancer diagnostics, gynecological cytogenetics, and molecular diagnoses of infectious diseases and rare genetic mutations. Over the past decade, SN Gene Lab has processed more than 75,000 cytogenetic and molecular diagnostic samples from all over India, continually adding new tests and state-of-the-art equipment to stay at the forefront of genetic diagnostics.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Sales Marketing Manager located in Mumbai. The Area Sales Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing client relationships, conducting market research, and identifying growth opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include meeting sales targets, coordinating with the marketing team for promotional activities, and analyzing sales data to guide strategic decisions. The role also involves mentoring and training sales representatives, organizing events and seminars, and maintaining a strong knowledge of genetic testing solutions offered by SN Gene Lab.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales management, client relationship management, and market research
  • Strong skills in strategic planning, sales strategy development, and team leadership
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the genetic testing industry and molecular diagnostics is a plus
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Genetics, or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
