About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Business Development Intern to support our sales and marketing team. This role is ideal for freshers or students who want to kickstart their career in business development, sales, and client relations. The intern will primarily focus on calling, lead hunting, and prospecting to generate business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct cold calling and outreach to prospective clients.
  • Research and identify potential leads through online platforms, databases, and market research.
  • Maintain a lead database and update records regularly.
  • Assist in qualifying leads and passing them to the senior business development team.
  • Support in scheduling meetings, follow-ups, and basic client communication.
  • Learn and contribute to sales processes and pipeline management.

Required Skills & Qualities

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and build a career in business development.
  • Ability to handle rejection positively and keep a persistent approach.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace.
  • Comfortable with phone-based outreach and professional client conversations.

Good to Have

  • Prior internship or exposure to sales/telecalling roles.
  • Understanding of digital marketing or B2B services.
