Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Tech & Auto Host. The Tech & Auto Host will be responsible for hosting events and delivering engaging content related to technology and automobiles. The role will involve conducting interviews, presenting product demonstrations, and providing insightful commentary on the latest trends and innovations in the industry. The Tech & Auto Host will collaborate with the team to create compelling content for various platforms.


Responsibilities

  • Host scripted and unscripted video content, including interviews, news updates, product reviews, tutorials, and more.
  • Connect with the audience by delivering content in an engaging, energetic, and relatable manner.
  • Work with the content team to develop scripts, outlines, and talking points for videos, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Conduct interviews with guests, experts, and personalities, fostering engaging conversations and insightful discussions.
  • Represent the brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and authenticity on camera and during public appearances.
  • Coordinate with the production team, including directors, camera operators, and editors, to ensure smooth filming and post-production processes.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, news, and developments to provide relevant and timely content to our audience.


Requirements

  • Previous experience as a video host, presenter, journalist, or similar role is preferred.
  • Excellent on-camera presence, public speaking skills, and ability to engage and captivate audiences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct interviews and moderate discussions effectively.
  • Comfortable working with scripted and unscripted content, and adapting to different video formats and styles.
  • Knowledge of video production equipment, techniques, and best practices is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate filming schedules and live events.
  • Creative mindset, with the ability to contribute ideas for content development and audience engagement strategies.
