Job Description

This is a unique opportunity where the candidate will have the opportunity to be part of highly successful global team focused on the Automotive sector focused on both traditional and auto-tech mandates.
The automotive team has presence across major auto and auto-tech hubs of the world such as China, Singapore, India, Western Europe (Germany, France, etc.), Israel, Middle East and the US. Team consists of highly experienced bankers focused on sell side, buy side and fund raise mandates.
Team provides impartial, expert advice to large and mid-sized corporations, private equity, families and entrepreneurs, and governments. We design and execute strategic M&A and financing solutions for our clients and act as a trusted partner, taking a long-term and independent view on the challenges they face.
Our deep understanding of auto sector, financial markets, high volume of transactions we advise on, and our unrivalled network of industry and financing specialists in 40 countries, provide clients with a comprehensive perspective to achieve their strategic goals. Our distinct perspective allows us to achieve outstanding results for our clients and act as their most trusted advisers over the long term.
Responsibilities

Researching relevant segments in the automotive sector to support the wider team's marketing initiatives and preparation of reports by optimising various sources of information; Support the team in coordinating the transaction process internally; Support the global team on all transaction related aspects such as preparation of standard or bespoke marketing materials (teasers etc.), financial models, info memorandum and buyer logs etc. Use a range of valuation techniques to support internal team including discounted cash flows, trading comps analysis, transaction comps analysis, and LBO-based valuations; Assist in creating content for pitch books by conducting ad-hoc analysis; Update industry databases and credentials

Education and Qualifications

MBA or CA (or equivalent) qualified: first time passes (distinct advantage, not essential)



Experience, Skills and Competencies Required

Previous experience of 1 to 2 years, gained in a similar role in another financial services organisation; Exposure to fundamental financial principles and experience of applying these; Ability to communicate clearly as well as persuade and influence others; Experience of overcoming setbacks in order to deliver results; Advanced Microsoft Office skills Aptitude for ongoing personal and professional development
