About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Zonal Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts and drive business growth. The Zonal Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing a team of sales professionals, and achieving sales targets in alignment with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the assigned zone.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives to drive performance and achieve sales goals.
Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and inform sales strategies.
Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
Sales Performance Tracking: Track, analyze, and report on key sales metrics and performance indicators to measure progress towards sales targets and identify areas for improvement.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales budget for the zone, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to support sales initiatives and ensure alignment with company objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in chemical/mechanical engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
