We are looking for an HR Operations Lead to own and streamline core people processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast paced startup environments, is hands-on with HR operations, and can balance structure with flexibility. Youll work closely with leadership to ensure seamless employee experiences across the lifecycle- from onboarding to exit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll & Compliance: Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Own the employee lifecycle journey: contracts, documentation, induction, and smooth exits.
  • HR Operations & Processes: Maintain HR records, draft policies, manage HRIS/people systems, and handle day-to-day HR queries.
  • Employee Engagement & Support: Be the go-to person for employees, supporting them with guidance and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Generalist Functions: Support performance management cycles, leave management, HR analytics/reporting, and assist in other people operations projects.
  • Adapt & Innovate: Identify gaps, recommend improvements, and set up scalable HR practices that balance structure with startup agility.

What Were Looking For

  • 2 to 6 years of experience in HR operations/generalist roles, ideally at high-growth startups.
  • Strong experience with payroll, onboarding, exits, and general HR administration.
  • Solid understanding of labor laws and compliance.
  • Highly adaptable, proactive, and able to thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a small, collaborative team.
