Role Overview
We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail/QSR Functional Consultant to lead business transformation initiatives across retail and quick-service restaurant (QSR) operations. You’ll bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, driving customer engagement, operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Discovery:
Conduct workshops to understand client pain points, business processes, reporting & dashboarding needs
Translate business requirements into functional specifications
Techno Functional Aspects:
Translate the functional specifications derived from the workshop to a technical fit document
Identify & highlight feature/reporting/dashboarding gaps
Collaborate with technical teams to configure and deploy systems aligned with business goals
Stakeholder Collaboration
Act as a trusted advisor to marketing, operations, and IT teams
Ensure alignment between business strategy and technology roadmap
Effective Onboarding
Ensure all functional specifications are deployed in the software (reports, dashboards, models, audiences etc)
Train super users of our clients on the platform
Explain the support mechanism and set cadences for support / business related queries
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in retail or QSR consulting, business analysis, or solution delivery
Strong understanding of retail/QSR operations: POS, loyalty, CRM, inventory, and customer experience
Knowledge of Marketing Automation tools & how they function
Familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics) is preferred
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, client-facing environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with omnichannel retail or QSR transformation projects
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and API integrations
