Role & responsibilities

  1. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
  2. Account Growth & Revenue Generation: Develop and execute strategies to expand business within existing accounts and identify new opportunities.
  3. Sales & Business Development Support: Work closely with the sales team to identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
  4. Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure client requirements are met and projects are successfully executed.
  5. Contract & Negotiation Management: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  6. Customer Satisfaction & Retention: Monitor client satisfaction and take proactive measures to address concerns, ensuring high retention rates.
  7. Market & Industry Insights: Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to provide valuable insights to clients and internal teams.
  8. Team Mentoring & Development: Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  9. Leadership & Strategic Planning: Drive strategic initiatives within the account management team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives

Preferred candidate profile

  1. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management, client engagement, and revenue growth within IT services.
  2. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Bachelors/Masters degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  2. 10+ years of experience in account management or sales within software services/IT solutions
  3. Proven ability to manage large accounts and drive revenue growth.
  4. Strong understanding of IT services, software development, and technology solutions.
  5. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  7. Experience with CRM tools and account management software is preferred.
