Role Overview

We are looking for a
dynamic and experienced General Manager
to head our
Cattle Feed Division in North India
. The ideal candidate will bring
deep industry knowledge in cattle feed/animal nutrition
, proven leadership in sales & distribution, and the ability to build strong marketing and operational strategies tailored for rural markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and expand sales across
    Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and adjoining states
    .
  • Develop and manage a
    strong distributor & dealer network
    .
  • Drive
    farmer engagement programs, vet camps, exhibitions, and rural marketing
    activities.
  • Collaborate with nutrition experts to align marketing with
    scientific product positioning
    .
  • Ensure
    efficient supply chain and operations management
    for uninterrupted product availability.
  • Monitor
    market demand, competitor activities, and seasonal trends
    in cattle feed consumption.
  • Recruit, train, and manage
    regional/area/territory sales teams
    to achieve business targets.
  • Report directly to senior management with growth plans and forecasts.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in
    Animal Nutrition, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, or Business Management
    .
  • 10–15 years of proven experience
    in the
    Cattle Feed / Animal Nutrition sector
    (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of
    North Indian dairy markets
    and rural distribution channels.
  • Excellent
    leadership, networking, and farmer-connect skills
    .
  • Ability to manage
    multi-state operations with frequent travel
    .
