Job Title: Regional Sales Manager - 3W Sales


Job Description:


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager with a strong background in 3W (Three-Wheeler) sales and channel management. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the 3W business landscape, and a proven track record of successfully managing sales teams and dealer networks across multiple territories.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Expertise: Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of sales background in the 3W industry, showcasing comprehensive knowledge of the market dynamics, customer needs, and competitor landscape.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively convey strategies, policies, and business plans to the dealer and sales teams.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of sales professionals and dealers across different territories, ensuring targets are met and objectives are achieved.
  • Service Background: Prior experience in service operations within the automotive industry is an advantage, enabling effective handling of customer service issues and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Target Orientation: Set and achieve ambitious sales targets for the region, while maintaining a sharp focus on performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Policy Understanding: Stay updated on industry regulations, government policies, and broker dynamics, integrating this knowledge into sales strategies and operations.
  • Business Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive business plans for the region, aligning with overall organizational goals and objectives.
  • Dealer Network Development: Expand the dealer network by appointing new dealers and nurturing relationships with existing ones, ensuring optimum geographical coverage and market penetration.
  • Marketing Activities: Plan and execute ATL (Above the Line) and BTL (Below the Line) marketing activities to generate enquiries and drive sales in the region.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with government agencies, institutional clients, brokers, and financiers to build strategic partnerships and foster business growth.
  • Training and Mentoring: Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to the sales and dealer teams to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and performance.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze market intelligence to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, implementing PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycles to adapt strategies accordingly.

Experience Level: 12+ years of relevant experience in 3W/small commercial vehicle sales and channel management.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) + Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.


Area of Specialization:

  • Demonstrated experience in 3W/small commercial vehicle sales.
  • Proven track record in channel management spanning multiple states.
