We are hiring for one of our reputed client in the ed-tech industry.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve regional government sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the government sector.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to the needs of government clients.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in government bodies, educational institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery of products and services.
  • Represent the institution at industry events, conferences, and meetings with government officials.

Government Procurement:

  • Navigate the government procurement process, including responding to RFPs, RFQs, and tenders.
  • Ensure compliance with all government regulations and requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with government entities.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Track and analyse sales metrics to evaluate effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team members’ skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in government sales, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the government procurement process and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level government officials and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
