We are hiring for one of our reputed client in the ed-tech industry.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve regional government sales targets.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the government sector.
  3. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to the needs of government clients.

Relationship Management:

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in government bodies, educational institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery of products and services.
  3. Represent the institution at industry events, conferences, and meetings with government officials.

Government Procurement:

  1. Navigate the government procurement process, including responding to RFPs, RFQs, and tenders.
  2. Ensure compliance with all government regulations and requirements.
  3. Negotiate contracts and agreements with government entities.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

  1. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.
  2. Provide regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  3. Track and analyse sales metrics to evaluate effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.

Team Leadership and Development:

  1. Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team goals.
  2. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team.
  3. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team members’ skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  2. Proven experience in government sales, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  3. Strong understanding of the government procurement process and regulations.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  5. Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level government officials and stakeholders.
  6. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Willingness to travel as required.
