Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled IT Manager to lead and oversee the organization’s technology infrastructure, systems, and IT operations. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth performance of all IT services, provide leadership to the IT team, and drive strategic initiatives that support business goals. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage both day-to-day operations and long-term technology projects. Key Responsibilities 1. IT Operations & Infrastructure Management Manage and maintain servers, networks, hardware, and software systems. Ensure continuous availability of IT services and rapid resolution of technical issues. Oversee system backups, disaster recovery plans, and cybersecurity measures. Monitor system performance and implement improvements. 2. Team Leadership & People Management Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team. Assign tasks, set performance goals, and conduct evaluations. Provide training and support for staff on technology tools and policies. 3. Cybersecurity & Risk Management Implement and enforce security protocols, access controls, and data protection policies. Monitor security threats and respond to incidents. Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards. 4. Strategic Planning & Technology Roadmapping Align IT strategies with business objectives. Identify opportunities for technology upgrades, automation, and process optimization. Evaluate and recommend new tools, software, and systems. 5. Project & Vendor Management Plan, oversee, and deliver IT projects on time and within budget. Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and consultants. Negotiate contracts and ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met. 6. IT Policies, Documentation & Processes Develop and maintain IT policies, SOPs, and documentation. Implement ITIL-based practices (incident, problem, and change management). Maintain accurate inventory and asset records. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT operations, network administration, or related roles. Strong knowledge of networking, servers, cybersecurity, cloud services, and databases. Experience managing IT teams and leading cross-functional projects. Solid understanding of ITIL and IT service management frameworks. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and handle high-pressure situations. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, CompTIA Security+, AWS/Azure. Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms. Knowledge of automation tools, scripting, or DevOps fundamentals. Familiarity with data analytics or AI-driven IT tools.
